The Deluxe Double Room offers a cozy atmosphere, tucked away through a charming courtyard. It features a modern aesthetic alongside ample space, making it a decent choice for solo travelers and couples alike.
Accessing the car park can be a hassle, especially without a code to open the automatic gates in the morning. Noise levels from the beer garden below and early morning deliveries could be bothersome, and cleanliness issues in the bathroom detracted from the comfort. The lack of communication about room checks and restocking of milk added to some confusion during the stay.

incredible access to parks and stunning city sights
I was thrilled by the quick walk to Palewell Park and the nearby stunning Royal Botanic Gardens, which made my weekend of city strolls truly delightful and memorable. the comfortable bed in my room was a big plus for a restful night after my explorations. As a single traveler, I appreciated the friendly staff who made my stay enjoyable and convenient, but the noise from the beer garden could be a bit distracting in the evenings.

We really loved our stay, especially the cozy room which was super clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed like a kettle and hairdryer. The outdoor seating area and comfy lounge made for perfect spots to unwind after a busy day. Just a heads up, the bathroom could've been cleaner, but it didn’t ruin our trip at all! 😊

We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who made sure we had all the info we needed, and the clean room had a fantastic walk-in shower. I loved chilling at the pub with a great crowd and watching sports which really added to the fun. Just a heads up, it can get a bit noisy since it's above a pub, but it didn’t ruin our time at all! 😊

Couples looking for a cozy getaway
The room was spacious and had this incredibly comfy bed that felt like I was sleeping on clouds seriously and the location was bang-on just a short walk to this awesome café with the best breakfast I ever had and they served proper bacon, none of that flimsy stuff.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but you know what they say sometimes you gotta spend a little to enjoy luxury.

Great location near lovely cafés and shops with easy access to parks. The room was exceptionally clean, featuring a modern bathroom and comfortable beds, providing a peaceful night's rest. Staff were welcoming and accommodating, especially with dietary needs regarding menu options, which included some excellent grilled dishes. The only downside was a lack of gluten-free choices on the menu and limited options for a quick snack.

Spent three nights at The Pig and loved the comfy bed that felt like a cloud. The room was spacious, and I appreciated the friendly staff. The location stood out. just a short walk to great cafes and shops, which made mornings delightful. The breakfast options were especially good, with proper bacon that hit the spot. the absence of Wi-Fi in the room was frustrating, especially when I needed to check some things online. no hooks in the bathroom made it a bit awkward for hanging clothes. the stay was enjoyable despite these few setbacks.
